Do you want to work in a company with the purpose of helping patients around the world? Do you want to learn and grow every day? Do you want to change healthcare?
Lyfegen is a fast-growing health-tech company making healthcare more accessible and affordable by delivering solutions for healthcare payers and pharma to identify the right drug pricing agreements, simulate and understand the financial impacts of those agreements, and automate the management of them.
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Business Analyst. This role focuses on gathering client requirements, designing and validating features, supporting development teams, and maintaining up-to-date documentation to ensure alignment with business goals and technical capabilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team at the forefront of innovation in healthcare technology.
We are doing things nobody has done before! Thus, creative problem solving is a must and a get-things-done mentality a definitive requirement.
Your main responsibilities:

- Validate feature concepts through user interactions, market research, and analytical assessments. Ensure that new developments meet the complex requirements of financial operations and healthcare regulations.
- Prepare comprehensive, clear documentation for development teams. This includes user stories, acceptance criteria, calculation examples, flowcharts, diagrams, and lo-fi wireframes, all tailored to guide the implementation process.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner (PO), UI/UX designers, and senior developers to design features that address client needs. Ensure that solutions align with both business goals and technical capabilities.
- Provide ongoing support to developers by answering questions, sharing realistic business examples, suggesting user flows, and validating calculations. Collaborate with QA teams to ensure requirements are met during testing phases.
- Maintain and update functional documentation as the product evolves, ensuring that all features are clearly documented for future reference and use by both internal and external stakeholders.
Who you are:
- Drive to create solutions that have a meaningful impact on healthcare and financial operations.
- Over 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a SaaS environment, working closely with cross-functional software development teams.
- Previous experience in building complex inter-connected models (e.g. data analysis, accounting, finance) is highly valued.
- Proficient in requirements visualization (flowcharts, decision trees, relationship diagrams, etc.).
- Strong understanding of Agile methodology and SDLC.
- Understanding of basic software development terms and workflows.
- Ability to dig deep into complex requirements and transforming them into actionable solutions, particularly in high-stakes environments.
- Proficient in client communication, consistently identifying core pain points, even when clients struggle to articulate them.
- Skilled in effectively communicating complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to take initiative to address challenges, raise concerns early, and ensure that solutions meet both business and technical needs.
- Passion for learning, whether it's adopting new tools or refining processes, and are excited to grow within a rapidly evolving environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Other languages such as German, are a plus.
What we offer:
- Join a company with a purposeful vision and mission.
- Direct influence on the growth and success of Lyfegen.
- The possibility to work flexibly.
- Competitive compensation package with performance-based incentives.
- Become part of a team of international high performers.
- Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
